The Boys

NS TRANSITION COURSE IS OVER.

YES I HAD TO PUT THAT OUT.

To think 3 weeks ago, I was fretting like a bitch in heat because I didn't know what to expect dipping my toes back to Clementi Camp again after a year and a half! It frightened me. And I haven't done live firings in such a long time. I was as rusty as a fugly AR15. Lol.

But like one of my course mates said, it was like a little reunion for us 8SIR guys because we haven't seen each other for such a long time and it was good to catch up with friends and make new ones along the way. I must say the experience was a rather enriching and enjoyable one.

Learnt new skills such as how to handle a SAW gun (yours truly is SAW gunner, hoorah!), though methinks the SAW is a bitch. Had a tiring section live firing and ended off the course with IPPT and combat shoot, which were both messed up beyond my control. Though the times spent chatting/bitching with the other guys was a truly fun (and dirty) experience!

Almost a month left to ORD on the 5th of December! Let's make these last few days a memorable and exciting one together! HWAITING! (:

Second Chances

How do you relate to second chances?

What's life, if not for second chances. The ability to right the wrong, to create something for oneself, something that expresses ourselves for whom we "truly" are.
