Thanks for all the birthday wishes and presents!
Had a long day in school yesterday. After lessons ended, I still had to attend mass dance practice which was really tiring! Didn’t really have the mood to dance…
Anyways, I thought Ade, Grace and I were just going to have a nice dinner together so we decided to go to Tampines mall. All the while I thought we were gonna eat teppanyaki so imagine my surprise when we walked past Fish & Co. and I saw Bryan there! Siew Chi joined us too!
I was like OMG!
I really, really didn’t know!
It’s the first time I ever had a birthday surprise!
So we had a nice dinner and camwhored a lot and made like damn a lot of noise in the restaurant. Haha I think people were staring at us. Then they surprised me by ordering a nice carrot cake for my birthday cake! I really was too full to finish it on my own so we all shared the cake!Oh yeah, they also sang a birthday song for me right in the middle of the restaurant and I was like so paiseh! Haha!
After that, they surprised me again with presents! Wahh!
Thanks alot to Ade, Bryan, Grace and SC for the dinner! =)
Pics!
All smiles here!
Numbering off!
Bryan does his best impression of how Grace smiles.
Grace does... err... her best unglam Grace pose!
See the similarity of their smiles?
Heh.
Put that down, Grace!
This was supposed to be a "dao" shot but Ade looks like...
(-_-)
Ok now, I'm gonna get scolded by her for posting this!
=X
Group hug!!!
I look alien-ish here... freaky!
Thanks for the carrot cake! (:
Grace and her violent tendencies.
Tsk!
"How to attempt to look seductive while eating ---- and failing."

Thanks for everyone's contributions!

Chinese New Year 2009
I must say that this year’s CNY celebration was way better than last year. It was really awesome to pull off Drama’s CNY skit for the whole school because we have been working really hard to make sure that we were all prepared and getting all our dialogue down pat.
I hope everyone enjoyed Drama’s performance! I heard laughter from the audience so that’s good right? (I’m so not gonna be ang moh anymore. Sheesh!)
So after the performance I went around splurging on the carnival food and drinks and hung around to watch teachers and students get dunked in the dunk tank. That was hilarious!Oh yes, the water orbs thingy looked really fun too. For those of you who don’t know, people step into this huge inflated plastic ball and then get to float and spin around on water. Too bad I didn’t get a chance to play it!
Took part in the CNY telematch and stuffed my face with yusheng cos we were playing 1, 2, 3 wooden man and we had to run to the end of the line and shove yusheng into our mouths. Haha. Good job, guys!
Helped out with TJC’s Amazing Feet by placing shoes to create the logo and I also helped to clear the shoes at the end of the event with my classmates. That was really some back breaking work man!
After everything, I went out with Bryan, Ade, PX and Cheng Nee for lunch at Parkway’s Jack’s Place. We spent like a really long time there ‘cos we chatted for uber long after our lunch. But it was sooo funny to share stories from our past! Oh oh! And Ade wasn’t really herself yesterday too! Must have spent too much time under the sun! Heh.
Putting the stuffed animals in some really, really, compromising positions.
And I caught them on camera!
The YOG 2010 logo made out of shoes!
Me, Heng Yue and Pearlyn.
I like my frog.
Class pictures!
Not the whole class but that's alright! (:
That’s about it! (:
Happy CNY everyone!

Didn't We Almost Have It All
“So much in life is about almosts, not quites.”
“Like the moon,” I said.
There it hung, a thin slice still low in the sky.
“Right,” he said.
“The moon is whole all the time, but we can’t always see it. What we see is an almost moon or a not-quite moon. The rest is just hiding out of view, but there’s only one moon, so we follow it in the sky. We plan our lives based on the rhythms and tides."
“Right.”
- The Almost Moon, Alice Sebold
Hail Mary.

Wide Open Windows
Hmm, I’ve been exploring the emptiness of this blog for awhile and I must say that staring into blank spaces is kinda comforting. Anyways, I don’t think I’ll be blogging about anything today so I’ll just be a lazy bitch and copy and paste materials that I found online.
Grey's Anatomy, Meredith Grey:
“A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo?
The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day.
Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying.”
Yup, hope that enlightened you in more ways than one, because it worked for me. It made me treasure my life just a little bit more.
Here’s a big shout-out to all O level-ers out there!
All the best for your results tomorrow!
Jiayous and God Bless! (:
Hail Mary.
