A Field Camp
That's exactly what's gonna be happening to me next week from Monday to Friday. Imagine no bath for 5 days and having to defecate in some random latrine point in the middle of the forest. On top of them you have to wear camouflage paint on your face, deal with heat rash and probably even rotting skin! There's also the responsibility of taking care of your rifle 24/7, sleeping in a "grave" and having little or no rest at all.
AFTER ALL THAT, I have to collect my 'A's results slip on Friday. Awesomeness.
Oh well, let's pray that I survive through all that shit in the coming week. The previous week wasn't my best I would say, fell sick for the past few days and I think I haven't been putting in my utmost for everything. That said, time to buck up for field camp!
It's already the end of Feb, can't believe that I have already spent almost a month in NS. Love my bunk mates and all their crazy antics and banter! You guys make NS just that much better. Honestly, without my buddy and bunk mates, I would feel suicidal everyday.
Anyways, my company is kinda messed up and I can tell you why. In my platoon, 2 of them have been on MC for the past week. Why? One was sent to IMH for depression and another got suicidal in the middle of the night. Wonderful eh? What NS does to people...
Gotta go pack my field pack and get ready for the next week! FIGHTING!!!
Hail Mary.

Oh!
I was really sad on my birthday. Well not the entire day but half of it.
I just got back from KL the night before so I was kinda shagged from traveling on the bus for like 6 freakin' hours, whilst trying my best to ensure that my bladder didn't burst!
Yup, so when I reached Singapore around midnight plus, I was swarmed with messages from my friends wishing me happy birthday. Thanks guys! I really appreciate every message I received throughout the entire day.
UNTIL. Something happened. S smsed and said that she was down with a fever and couldn't join me for dinner. Jeff on the other hand had already informed me earlier that he had guard duty so he couldn't make it. So I had to go dinner with only Wil. Which was okay, I thought, I mean things happen right? Anyway, I was upset because I was thinking why in the world did so many things crop up on my birthday of all days. I really believed that my birthday was jinxed! D:
So to cut things short, Wil led me on a wild goose chase in Iluma and I was already getting suspicious because he kept making me walk up and down floors and going around in circles.
I WAS FUNGRY YOU SEE.
In the end, we reached the ground floor and those 2 liars (jk!) popped out and surprised me! I was totally reeling in shock and then they started singing me a birthday song and all. Aww. Thanks guys I was really touche! So we hopped over to Manhattan Fish Market and had dinner. And since it was my birthday, I got a complimentary brownie with ice cream! :)
Thanks guys for putting in the effort to plan a surprise for me! I'm really not used to such stuff but you guys pulled it off well I must say! Drama sessions paid off! Haha!
I'll definitely remember my 19th Birthday celebration!
