A Call We Must Answer

Class 4J of Victoria School has taken on the challenge to help in the building of a toy library for the Spastic Children's Association of Singapore. They are aiming to collect 131kg of educational toys.
The Spastic Children's Association of Singapore strives to be a leading regional centre for persons with Cerebral Palsy, helping them to realize their full potential and to lead a life with respect. Let us come together to help them.
So to all my blogders, if you have any unwanted toys (make sure they are educational!) that are piling up in your home and collecting dust,
Bring them to school on the 12th of July, and hand them to the people in charge in class 4J.
All the best to 4J as you embark on your ambitious Victorian Challenge and may you grasp success in your palms!

This day kicks of “The concerts for a climate in crisis: Live Earth” where artistes around the world will do their part to bring the message of global warming and other earth-consuming epidemics that are imminent in the near future.
Answer Mother Earth’s pleas to maintain her figure because you don’t want her crumbling away. You don’t want her to flare up and spew magma all over you. Worst, you wouldn’t want her to drown you in her tears and command mighty seas to swallow you up when she blows her top. That sounds bad but let’s leave it at that.
Talk about water retention and menopause, people.
Our grand dame has been around for ages, and we wouldn’t want her to slip away in our hands, would we? Respect her, even if she looks like she has droopy skin and saggy bits. Where would our future generations live if she decides to give up?
I was speaking to Matthias that day about how we should help our Earth. One solution is to stop eating beef, he says. The farts that those cows emit all the time could eventually kill us with methane overload. Then wad, I said. Stop eating beef? *hears protests from McDonald’s lovers*
“It’s like death by farting.”
A mental image of a fat cow’s arse in my face pops into my mind and I’m being smothered by it. Then a sickening sound ensures.
Scaaary.
So Geography students like me, or anyone of you who actually gives a damn about the climate crisis, let’s make a concerted effort to save our earth. Because it’s what little each of us does that makes a big difference.
Set your air-cons to 25 degrees Celsius, I’m proud to say I sleep with the air-con at 25 degrees, I’ll freeze if it’s any lower. Don’t flush so often because you can always prepare a pail of water beforehand and scoop water out to clear your excreted products. Of course, reuse those plastic bags!
Oh dear, now I sound like an environmentalist. xD
Go green everyone, I will, 'cause green is one of my favourite colours!
Check on it.
Live Earth tonight.
Hail Mary.
