This week was once again laden with worries. For one, it was the CA2 results. I shan't divulge them on my blog... It's too risky. Criticism is tough.. i guess. Ask from me directly. Sad to say, wasn't really well done. But i guess as most people would say : I tried.
Wednesday: Had to present my persuasive speech in creative ocmmunications class. Hey, for the first time! I was NOT nervous. Phew! I had a mostly positive review from the teacher. On account that there were 2! One being Mr Maran, no idea what he gave me though. >.<
Friday: During english, i got back my English summary test. I passed... but still, wasn't done well. Apparently, 11 others failed.
D&T was stressful, nothing much was accomplished. Besides, it seems i'm the one that actually cares the most about the design for the military vehicle design. I'm f-king stressed about it now. What's a group when it seems i'm the only one doing? Not blaming my other teammates, but i sincerely hope that during the process of making the damn thing, i would appreciate more effort put in.
Had a Sec 4 farewell for the Air Rifle seniors! There was pizza, curry puffs and other goodies. Sec 4 seniors! You guys have been GREAT! Congrats to Ian who is now our new chairman! Haha, time just passed so quickly. Unfortunately, i missed out on all the food. The next paragraph being the reason. =p
After school, i had a 2hr dialogue session with the Principal and VP with 11 other school mates from sec 2/3. Mainly disucssing the important issues affecting VS now. IP and co-ed issue matter-of-factly. I'm not gonna say everything that was discussed. In case it causes any upheaval. That would be disastrous. I must say, it was enlightening, but then again, a wake-up call for many of us Victorians. Ultimately, the spotlight is on us --- the students.
Perception; noun -> a mental image; a capacity for comprehension
Everyone is having the impression that VS is in trouble, but is it really? Who is to take responsibilty of how the school turns out? Can we change what is beyond our control? What's with the slack culture? Face up to reality, people! Education is not just about academics? Is this really the case? Think about it!
Questions we pondered over... Limiting oneself, giving the utmost, is it something that is too difficult to overcome? Glad i was chosen to listen to the view of others. Of course, many other things was talked about. But i guess, it's not for me to decide. I hope what i have written here, can help others realize the predicament we must come to accept. Do not shift the responsibilty.
